Mary Menelik is a Columbus, Ohio–based actress and student at The Ohio State University, where she is pursuing a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Theater. She is currently developing her performance training through coursework such as Craft of Acting, Intro to Theatre, and America on Stage. Mary’s stage experience includes a lead role in A Christmas Carol and a supporting role in Paper or Plastic, along with ensemble work in Mamma Mia!. She also gained production experience as a Production Assistant on the 2026 project Nightflirt at kiloHertz Studios.

In addition to her acting work, Mary is active in leadership and community engagement. She currently serves as President of the Ethiopian Student Organization and Vice President of the Women in Law Organization at Ohio State, and volunteers with the YWCA in Columbus. Mary brings strong communication and storytelling skills to her performances, supported by her background in public speaking and mock trial. She is fluent in English and Amharic and has experience performing with Standard American, Southern, and British dialects.
